Music , Medicines and Memories Cardiff 2024

Cardiff felt the right place to deliver our first "live show" to the general public and we are so grateful to the Chapter Arts Centre who were happy to oblige us on a prime time Saturday night slot.

Led brilliantly by Jamie we performed to a sell out crowd and invited members of the public to join in the conversation with the Three Apothecaries for an evening of fun, laughter, and tears, as we shone the spotlight on the relationship between people and their medicines.

Desert Island Drugs offered by audience members included the biological antibody therapy agent Rituximab, and that potential "Blockbuster" drug Physical Activity !

As well as the "empty chair" we had a excellent guest , Dick Johns , an actor and stand up comedian, who talked about his relationship with one of his own medicines, after a life threatening health scare,  and picked Morphine as his Desert Island Drug, used to such good effect in a family member's peaceful and successful palliative journey.

We had an absolute blast , and it made us realise just how far we have come since setting up the podcast during the Covid lockdowns.

A big thank you to all those people came to see us and all the profits were given to bigmoose a Cardiff based mental health charity.

We are next live at the 28th European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) Congress in Bordeaux , then who knows where ............
